Submit button not active after upload

#1

I installed Clipbucket open source to try it our because we are getting ready to purchase it but for some reason the Submit button does not become active after upload is completed. The script have full privilege to insert into the db and access to all the shell exec binary it requires.

How do I troubleshoot this?

Thank you

It means that your server is not allowing the script to insert video into the database, probabale cuases:

  1. PHP version compaitablity (I think it must be 7.0 for the latest version)
  2. Database compaitibility issue
  3. MySQL strict mod (must be switched off)
  4. Other permission issues

You should also review your server specs and see if they’re at least upto the minimum recommended requirements and you can further debug the issue by checking the errors in console during uploading.

#3
  1. It’s at PHP 7.2 with php-fpm
  2. MySQL 5.7
  3. Strict mode is turned off

CentOS 6 with WHM / Cpanel

The console did log an error - see below -

PHP issue should be downgraded to 7.0 it must be causing other issues as well.

#5

I will recompile apache with php 7.0 but are you aware that php 7.0 is EOL? It is no longer supported. Will it work with 7.1?

#6

I downgraded it to 7.0 and almost same error

One thing I noticed, when I downgraded to 7.0 then I clicked on Server Modules Info . it try to load the page and time out and often I keep getting “No input file specified.” on the browser so I have to keep refreshing browser until it load again.

#8

Re-configured and re-complied apache + php again …This time it get inserted … yay . but the conversion doesn’t work drats!

Reviewing the logs …

#9

Great, You have successfully debugged the bigger issue, The conversion issue mostly relates to FFMPEG, probably a missin g encoder or an older version, review the conversion log in details.

#10

I wanted to post and share on here how I resolved the “No input file specified.” issue that I was having in case other may be facing the similar issue in future.

I am using Cpanel and it have several different php versions so you can’t just point it to /usr/bin/php instead you have to point it to the php version which you are using with Clipbucket in Cpanel.

I had to set my php path to /opt/cpanel/ea-php70/root/usr/bin/php also you need to do the same with cron jobs.

I am still working on the conversion issue but I probably will create a new separate post for this issue. Thank you fro who all assisted me with this!
